Our facility, Four Corners Ambulatory Surgery Center (FCASC), will remain in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS). We are continuing the relationship with BCBS as all parties have come to a mutual agreement. Thank you for patience and understanding.*

Original August, 5, 2022 Statement:

Dear Four Corners Ambulatory Surgery Center Patient:

We are currently in contract negotiations with BlueCross BlueShield of New Mexico to discuss an update to our reimbursement rates which have been in place since 2015.  You may have received a letter from BlueCross BlueShield of New Mexico notifying you that you will be out of network with our facility beginning September 1, 2022.

Negotiations have currently reached a standstill and our contract is set to expire August 31, 2022.

If we are not able to come to agreeable terms, you, the patient, will be able to continue to be seen at Four Corners Ambulatory Surgery Center however, you will be considered out of network resulting in higher deductibles and co-insurance. If you cannot afford these higher costs, you will be forced to change providers, (example: San Juan Regional Medical Center).
